Synopsis
In the Shadow of Waves follows Kelly, a teenager haunted by guilt over her brother’s tragic surfing accident, and her mother, Sandy, who hides behind secrets that drive them further apart. Their fragile world collides with Marty, a troubled scientist consumed by secret experiments into the emotional power of water. Drawn into his world Kelly begins to see forgiveness — and the ocean itself — in an entirely new light.
